The Court may make an order for either ‘supervised’ or ‘supported’ contact. Child Contact Centres are there for children to maintain or re-establish contact with a parent or other family member. It may be that trust has broken down or communication has become difficult following parental separation. If there is a risk of harm to children then a supervised service needs to be used and the Court order may specify which service and may refer the parents. If you simply need a neutral venue for contact then you could use a supported service. Some services charge a fee and this may be for a block of contact sessions.
